1. New Project. Hydra displays a clear summary view of the existing department workload as a basis for planning the new workload.
   
2. Validation/Approval. Hydra has an easy to use project approval workflow - project details are summarised and distributed to the appropriate person for review. This enables informed decisions on potential new projects to be made.
   
3. Assess Resource Requirements. In Hydra multiple scenarios can be easily evaluated, such as introducing new projects, or additional resources. This ensures that your resource capacity is judged accurately and that you know exactly what additional resources are required.
4. Model Capacity Vs Demand. Using Capacity planning high- level views of any future workloads, resource utilisation and requirements can easily be modelled. This provides a simple summary view of the forward planning for the organisation.
   
5. Formalise Priorities and Publish. In Hydra the potential new project can be very quickly converted into a 'live' project plan. This enables the distribution of the new project schedule to your resources to happen as soon as you're ready. Projects can then be tracked against progress by setting baselines.
   
6. Assess Impact and Re-prioritise. The impact of introducing new projects can easily be assessed in Hydra. Any resulting re-prioritisation can then be quickly implemented and the project updated.
